Hey there watchers and other wonderful DA members that happen to be on my profile! (:
A few months ago I was on facebook and saw a post from someone I don't know to well about this thing called [type] ryde. Sounds a bit odd, aye? Well, its a magazine and when I first heard about it, it was about 2 weeks off from releasing its very first issue. [type] ryde. is a magazine made by and for youth! It's based in the area of Ryde (no, I don't live there so don't try to stalk me there, you'll fail!) and its just a small magazine, with around 20 contributers and 5 issues released so far.
I didn't get involved in issue one. I could of, I had enough time to send something in but I get nervous about my writing and decided not to. In issue #1 though, I saw a little ad about a chatter session for the next issue. I went and from there on found myself getting involved in this wonderful little invention of a magazine. It's different to all the big name mags you'll buy at the newsagency, it doesn't have celebrity gossip or fashion or sex tips, it has writing and art and photography and articles about interesting and real things! We're different and different in a good way, we take all this diverse talent from youth in the area and jam pack it into a monthly mag that can make you think, smile, laugh and enjoy reading it for the right reasons.
I started by writing an article on myths and how they've influenced modern fantasy. That was fun, I'm a fantasy freak and researching myth and folklore gave me an insight into the differences of these stories in different cultures and when I saw it published in the second issue of the little magazine, I felt a thrill I'd never felt before. Writing is one of my great passions but more importantly, this little magazine, [type] ryde., is the passion of around 20 youth in the suburbs of Sydney and you should really give it a read and see this unseen talent.
In the current issue, #5, things have become bigger and better and I've even got a couple of my art pieces featured. I've written an article on wolf hunting, added a second part to my story from last issue. The best part is what others have done, you'll fine some very well written monologues, beautiful photography, a Paint Tool SAI tutorial and some amazing articles. READ IT! Read it and learn to love this magazine!

I'm Alive!
Hello world!
Just thought I'd pop in and say that I'm not dead! NaNoWriMo became my life, it does every November, and I ended up writing 100,000 words during the 30 days of November! :D Now that it is over, I'm trying to work out what my life was before NaNo so I guessed it'd probably be smart to post something here. I'll probably post a silly painting I did, I'm currently working on the first couple of pages of my portfolio for my textiles major work and I'm painting the backgrounds. So yeah, I'll upload the one I'm not using later today. I don't know when I'll get back to drawing, with school and my horrid tiredness from November I don't r

Next Kiriban at 2,500 page views!
So, you've all probably seen my sudden spam of NaNoWriMo related deviations. Well, November is near so this really should be expected. xD Expect a possible continuation of NaNo deviations, everything from calendars, to covers and even a signature if I ever get to making one for the NaNo forums. Everything I make related to NaNo that doesn't look like complete crap will be uploaded here, sorry, and I've even made a gallery folder specifically for it all. So yeah, just thought I'd let you all know that.

Kiribans! - 999, 1000, 1111 - read below
EDIT: kargaroc586 (https://www.deviantart.com/kargaroc586) got 1000 pageviews! :D
So, I thought since I'm at about 950 page views I'd open up a couple of kiribans, this many page views is like... O.O how did I get them? Alright, I'm going to have two but leave people three opportunities. Screenshot my pageviews at 999, 1000 or 1111 and send me a note but I'm only going to accept a maximum of two so if someone catches 999 and 1000, 1111 won't count. I'm doubtful that any will be caught, that's why I'm putting out more opportunity.

Artist Feature - *redradishRabbit
I hate hearing about people hardly having any money, especially when it gets to the point where someone can hardly eat. I have a friend in uni who gets through on usually one and a half meals a day so hearing about this one artist really hit me in the wrong spot. Looking at her gallery, you can see that she is a very talented artist. I don't get how people this talented can get in such bad spots.
